Frederick D. McKalip serves as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of RLJ Lodging Trust, where he leads the Company’s legal and corporate governance functions. Prior to joining RLJ in 2011, Frederick was an attorney at Arent Fox PLLC, focusing on corporate transactions, real estate, and finance.

Frederick holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from Virginia Tech, and a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
