Mr. Collins is the Founder and Chairman of theGROUP, a government relations and strategic communications consulting firm in Washington, D.C., and a successor company to Public Private Partnership, Inc., which he established in 1989. He is a trusted strategic advisor to corporate leaders with concentrations in real estate, financial services, healthcare, information technology, and national security, and to domestic and foreign governments focused on bilateral relations and global public policy.

Mr. Collins currently serves on the boards of Aflac Incorporated and KB Home. He serves as chairman of the board of trustees of Morehouse School of Medicine and is a member of the board of trustees of Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art and Ford’s Theatre in Washington, D.C. His previously served as Vice Chair of the Brookings Institution board of trustees, as a trustee of Meridian International Center and chairman of the board of trustees of Florida A&M University. He is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). Mr. Collins received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Florida A&M University and a doctor of humane letters from Florida A&M University.

Mr. Collins is a member of the Compensation Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
